Local elections will be held on Manila on May 12, 2025, where Manileños will vote for the elective posts of mayor, vice mayor, six (6) congressional districts, and 36 councilors.

Background

Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo are the incumbents; both of which are members of the Asenso Manileño, the city's ruling party. Both of them are expected to defend their position.

For the mayoral election, there were reports that Senator Imee Marcos might run for mayor of Manila.[1] However, she denied these reports.[2] Former Manila mayor Isko Moreno, the then-running mate of Honey Lacuna when she was still a vice mayor, promised that he will not seek any elective post or run on any position.[3]
